The Cost of a Chesterton Education

Chesterton Academy of the Annunciation is committed to offering an outstanding high school education at an affordable cost to families. Because tuition does not cover the full cost of an education at Chesterton, families are expected to aid in fundraising efforts throughout the school year.

We are now accepting applications for incoming freshman, sophomores, and juniors for the 2024-2025 school year!

  • Non-refundable application fee: $75

    Materials Fee: $100

  • The Chesterton Academy of the Annunciation admits students for 9th through 12th grades of any gender, race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

  • The Chesterton Academy of the Annunciation seeks to enroll students who seek to increase in wisdom and virtue through study of the true, the good, and the beautiful. The curriculum is academically rigorous, and the admissions process is multi-faceted. It includes report card review, completion of a placement exam, a writing sample, and student & parent interview in order to ensure academic readiness. The Chesterton Academy of the Annunciation cannot provide special education instruction, however, accomodations can be made on a case-by-case basis.

Placement Exam

We administer the Classic Learning Test 8 as our placement exam for incoming freshmen. Though not a requirement to acceptance, we highly having your student take this test to gauge readiness. The placement exam covers:

  • Verbal reasoning skills

  • Grammar and writing skills

  • Quantitative reasoning skills

  • An optional Latin exam is also offered

The test will be offered Saturday February 17th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Email admissions@chestertonannunciation.org to register and learn more about logistics. A completed application must be received prior to test day. There is no additional fee for the CLT.
